This little vessel is full of surprises. Measuring only 3/4 of an inch from bottom to top, it is miniature and detailed. Shiny turquoise is striped with coral for a pepper-colored look; dichroic blue dots between the stripes lend an organic air. Ivory dots around the rim add more detail.

The truest delight, though, is the little wings. They just appeared on the vessel without my attempting to make them. It must have been due to some of Tink's fairy dust sprinkled in my studio without my knowing it. Whatever the reason, I'm happy they appeared!

This vessel is an original Aspiring Arts creation, handmade by Susan Midlarsky. It was made using soft glass and kiln annealed for durability.
